3 Decades of German-Engineered Excellence
Diamond - Non-Toxic Surface Protection
Permanon’s specialist, non-toxic, water-based silicon that adheres electrostatically to any transparent or semi-transparent surface, creating a crystal-clear protective film. A 1-litre concentrate bottle makes 20 litres at 5% dilution or 33 litres at 3%. Protects surfaces up to 6 - 8 months.
Permanon Diamond advanced-engineered solution repels water, blocks contamination, and makes every surface significantly smoother and easier to keep clean, with no alcohol, no fluorosilanes, no chemical silicone oils, and no buffing or curing required.
Because Diamond makes every future clean more than 80% easier on glass and transparent surfaces, it doesn’t just protect — it eliminates the streak-chasing, the water-spot scrubbing, and the repeat cleaning that transparent surfaces demand, for up to 6–8 months per application.
Surfaces and Protection Coverage
Permanon Diamond has been specially developed for transparent and semi-transparent surfaces — the one surface category where every other product in the Permanon range is not recommended.
While PSI+14 Silver Line, Gold Line, and Profi-Line Plus are formulated for opaque hard surfaces and carry a specific caution against extensive glass use, Diamond fills this gap with a formula engineered precisely for clarity, optical neutrality, and long-lasting protection on glass and glazed surfaces.
The water-based silicon formula adheres electrostatically, creating a protective film that physically smooths the surface at a microscopic level — dirt, water, and contamination have no rough texture to grip onto, so they slide off rather than bonding. The result is glass that stays cleaner for dramatically longer, with a lasting hydrophobic effect that eliminates the water spots, streaks, and mineral deposits that afflict untreated glass in Australian conditions.
Non-toxic, non-alcoholic, and free of fluorosilanes and chemical silicone oils, Diamond is safe for household, commercial, marine, and horticultural use.

Dilution Ratio and Application
Permanon Diamond is a professional-grade concentrate that mixes with regular tap water in minutes. No specialist equipment required. The mixed solution remains active and stable for the periods shown below.
Dilution:
• First-time application: First-time application: mix Permanon Diamond at 5% with water. A 1-litre concentrate makes 20 litres of diluted solution. A 500ml concentrate makes 10 litres of diluted solution.
• For maintenance: For shine-renewing maintenance, a 3% solution is sufficient. A 1-litre concentrate makes 33 litres of diluted solution. A 500ml concentrate makes 16 litres of diluted solution.

Important Notes:
• Diluting with regular tap water allows the mixed solution to remain stable for approximately 3 weeks.
• Diluting with osmosis (purified) water significantly extends shelf life — the mixed solution will remain stable for up to 3 months.
• The Diamond Ready-to-Use solution is produced with medicinal water and can be stored unopened for approximately 1 year.
Application Instructions:
Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and free of heavy contamination, grease, or soap residue before applying. For shower screens, complete your standard clean first. For automotive glass, wash the vehicle before applying.
Apply or spray the Diamond solution directly onto the transparent or semi-transparent surface. No reaction time is required. No rubbing, buffing, or polishing is necessary — simply apply, remove any excess with a clean soft cloth or squeegee, and the protective film is immediately active. For maximum optical clarity and water-beading performance, dry with a clean lint-free microfibre cloth rather than air-drying.
|
Pro tip for shower screens: Apply Diamond to a clean, dry screen after your weekly clean. Within 1–2 treatments, water will begin sheeting off rather than beading and sitting — dramatically reducing the frequency and effort of future cleaning. Reapply every 6–8 months or as needed. |
Note: Permanon Diamond is specifically formulated for transparent and semi-transparent surfaces. For opaque hard surfaces — painted panels, alloy wheels, stainless steel, plastics, and rubber — use Permanon PSI+14 Silver Line, Gold Line, or Profi-Line Plus.
Product Depth
Permanon Diamond is the product that answers the one question the rest of the Permanon range cannot: what do you use on glass? Every other product in the Permanon surface protection line carries a specific caution against use on extensive transparent or glass surfaces due to its Si14 concentration — Diamond is the solution. Developed specifically for transparent and semi-transparent surfaces, Diamond uses a water-based silicon formula that adheres electrostatically to glass and glazed surfaces, creating an ultra-thin protective film without chemical reaction. Unlike conventional glass cleaners that clean and leave no protection behind, or sealants that contain alcohol or fluorosilanes that degrade surface clarity over time, Diamond seals the glass at a microscopic level — smoothing surface texture so that contamination loses its grip and water sheeting replaces water beading. The protective film is optically clear and does not alter the appearance, transparency, or light transmission of any surface it treats.
Permanon Diamond is completely non-toxic, free of alcohol, fluorosilanes, and chemical silicone oils, and safe for use in household, healthcare, marine, and horticultural environments. It is one of the few glass protection products that is genuinely safe for use around people, plants, and sensitive environments — including nursing homes, hospital facilities, greenhouses, and food preparation areas. Because the protective film dramatically reduces the ability of contamination, mineral deposits, and biological growth to bond to the surface, follow-up cleaning becomes more than 80% easier: fewer cleaning products needed, less time spent, and significantly extended intervals between full cleans. Available in concentrate form and as a Ready-to-Use solution, Permanon Diamond is the complete glass and transparent surface protection answer for homes, commercial facilities, vehicles, vessels, and horticultural environments across Australia and New Zealand.
